The Cult of Osiris are a one-time antagonist group to the Venture Family. The Cult's ultimate goals and whether or not they are a registered group under The Guild of Calamitous Intent is unknown, as their appearance in Escape to the House of Mummies Part II is secondary to another plotline revolving around Dr. Venture and Dr. Orpheus. ===History=== The group's background is unknown, although they wear ancient Egyptian style garb, and likely worship the same gods. Despite this, the group is rooted in present times, as they are shown wielding firearms in the fake "Previously On..." segment at the start of "Escape to the House of Mummies Part II". What is known is that the group, lead by an Ibis Priest, kidnapped the Venture Family and used a possibly stolen time machine in an attempt to claim the Hand of Osiris and hatch The Perfect Man to rule over the world. The group's time travelling efforts seemingly succeeded in both goals, and in the process Sigmund Freud and Roman emperor Caligula to the "present" for unknown reasons. At some point, they also trap the Ventures in the Hall of Sorrows, a standard room of death with spike-armed walls that slowly close in. Dr. Venture escapes thanks to Dr. Orpheus, but forgets about Hank, Dean, and Brock (see the episode synopsis), who end up escaping regardless. They travel through time and eventually end up hours earlier when they were first kidnapped. Brock creates a strike team composed of himself, Dean (with his head on a mummy's body, wielding guns and riding the Perfect Man), Hank, Sigmund Freud, Edgar Allen Poe, Caligula, and another Brock to move in and defeat the group. As the entire episode is meant to be nonsensical, what happens next is unrevealed outside of a fake "Next time..." Segment that does not show the battle, although the cult is likely defeated.
