Dr. Venture, the son of a famed scientist, has grown up to follow in his father footsteps. Except he's tripped up at every step. He travels the world with his sons, Hank and Dean, on adventures in the name of science (and making money in order to keep Venture Industries from plummeting deeper into the red). They're accompanied by bodyguard Brock Samson, a merciless killing machine. His skills come in handy because Thaddeus "Rusty" S. Venture seems to attract all maners of archvillains, from the high pitched squealing Monarch to the dime store Dr. Doom, Baron Underbheit.
