The Flight of the Monarch is a tell-all book written by Henchmen 21 and 24 that is alternately considered a rare insight into the workings of The Monarch or a suicide note. The book has some pictures including The Monarch making out with punk rockers Stiv Bators and Lydia Lunch at the Danceteria nightclub and Dr. Girlfriend sitting on the lap of Monstroso.

- "Rifling through his pockets for change, The Monarch accidentally launches a sodium-pentothal tipped dart deep into his own thigh. Upon hearing a girlish symphony of shrill wails, a waitress comes to his aid. There she was subjected to a lecture concerning her weight problem and the evils of over-plucking her eyebrows."
[edit] Reaction of The Monarch
The Monarch was infuriated and embarrassed by the publication of this book calling it "A mean little tell-all-book filled with nothing but lies and pictures of also lies." Upon his discovery of the book The Monarch made a point of letting the henchmen know that he knew about it, even though the author(s) remained a mystery. Claiming that the book was, in fact, a suicide note, he then gave the author(s) twenty minutes to "seek his aid" before he just killed all of the henchmen. The fate of who stepped (or was pushed) forward, if anyone, is still unknown and reprecussions of this book may yet be felt.
