The Fraternity of Torment's members in 1969 were Manotaur, Brainulo, Scaramantula and Fandragon, who was actually Jonas Venture in a really cheap and poorly executed Japanese villain disguise. Their lair, located on Spider-Skull Island, was taken over on their first ever summit by Team Venture.
The property was owned by Jonas Venture and passed down to Thaddeus "Rusty" Venture. When Jonas Venture Jr. comes into the picture, Rusty gives him the island, which JJ later turns into the Jonas Venture Sr. Museum.
Apparently The Fraternity of Torment is still active and while their membership is dwarfed by that of The Guild, it is shown that they still have a considerable membership.
