Dermott Fictel is a unruly teen who showed up to Rusty's Day Camp for Boy Adventurers. Upon seeing this "badass" teen, Dean was frightened as he'd never been around other teen males before. Hank takes a liking to Dermott and they soon become friends. Dermott later mocks Brock's fighting technique during a martial arts exhibition and the taunting gets to Brock like no one else ever has, more than likely because he has never been sassed like this before.
When Dermott insults Triana, Dean's pent up fear explodes and he severely pummels the boy. As the day ends Dermott's mother, who is shown in shadow, comes to pick him up and asks if he got to see his father. This points to someone at the camp being the boy's real father, the most likely of which is Brock (however, Dermott bears a stronger facial resemblance to Billy Quizboy). In the episode Tears of a Sea Cow, 24 catches Dermott, and Dermott remarks, "Would you believe I'm Brock Samson's long lost son?" He makes a reference to the Led Zeppelin album "In Through the Out Door," the same album that Brock refused to listen to in season one when he was watching Hank. Brock mentioned he can not listen to them because of a girl, possibly Dermott's mother.
